Sunroof regulator, removing and installing


Removing

- Remove sunroof drive cover.

- Remove interior light assembly.

- Turn control switch until slot is visible in housing.




- Insert screwdriver, as shown, up to shaft.

- Carefully pry off control switch knob.

- Remove nut, take out switch.


Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:




- Ensure lug (arrow) on sunroof control switch engages in slot in cover.

- Torque -A- to 1.5 Nm (13 in lb)




- Press knob onto shaft.

Retaining spring (center arrow) must face rounded side of shaft

- Check sunroof for proper function.
