^ Power steering operates with power steering fluid, Part No. G 002 000, or equivalent.
^ Before installing, moisten O-rings and seals with power steering fluid.
^ Do not attempt to weld or straighten steering components.

1 Servotronic control module
- Location: auxiliary relay panel 1 in plenum, position 16
- Checking voltage supply.
- Checking vehicle speed signal.

- No longer used for Servotronic

7 Harness connector for
- Servotronic solenoid valve

8 Strainer
- Clean if necessary

9 O-ring
- Always replace

10 O-ring
- Always replace

11 Servotronic solenoid valve
- Checking.

12 Socket-head bolt
- Tighten to: 3 Nm (27 inch lbs.)
- Fastens Servotronic solenoid valve to valve housing
- Not marked with sealing paint
