Servotronic System

Voltage Supply Check
1. Remove cover from auxiliary relay panel No. 1 in plenum.
2. Remove servotronic control module from auxiliary relay panel No. 1, position 16.
3. Place ignition switch in ON position.
4. Measure voltage between auxiliary relay panel terminals No. 6 and No. 8. Voltage should be 12 volts.
5. If voltage is not as specified, then inspect wiring for open or short.

Solenoid Valve Check
1. Remove cover from auxiliary relay panel No. 1 in plenum.
2. Remove servotronic control module from auxiliary relay panel No. 1, position 16.
3. Measure resistance between auxiliary relay panel terminals No. 2 and No. 5. Resistance should be 6-12 ohms.
4. If voltage is not as specified, then disconnect electrical connector from solenoid valve and inspect wiring for open or short.
5. If wiring harness is satisfactory, then replace solenoid valve.

Vehicle Speed Signal Check
Vehicle speed signal is supplied by the speedometer.
1. If voltage supply, solenoid valve and vehicle speed display are satisfactory, then inspect wiring harness between auxiliary relay panel No. 1 terminal No. 4 and speedometer for open or short.
2. If wiring harness is satisfactory, then replace servotronic control module.
