Power Steering Fluid Reservoir: Locations






NOTE: Power steering hydraulic system operates with power steering fluid Part No. G 002 000, or equivalent.

1 Filler Cap With Oil Dipstick
- Tighten forcefully by hand
- Note MAX and MIN marks on dipstick

2 Seal

3 Pressure Spring

4 Spring Seat
- Install on dipstick

5 Strainer
- Clean with solvent

6 Reservoir
- If new, fill with power steering fluid
- Capacity approx. 1.2 liters (1.2 qt.)
- Checking fluid level:
- Let engine idle with wheels straight ahead for approx. two minutes.
- Stop engine (switch ignition off) and immediately check power steering fluid level, noting marks on the reservoir or dipstick.
- If necessary top off to MAX mark.

7 Bolts
- Tighten to: 10 Nm (84 inch lbs.)

8 Bracket
- Bolt to wheel housing

9 Hose Clamp

10 Suction Hose

11 Return Hose

12 Hose Clamp
