Backrest, Removing and Installing

Removing
- Remove seat from vehicle.
- Disconnect electrical connector for backrest adjustment.
- Remove heated seat connector from seat frame.
- Open tabs and remove connectors -a- for heated seat element plug (if applicable).





- Press out clips for trim cover from outside.





- Remove trim cover.
Note different lengths of clips
- Remove left/right screws (left arrow) for backrest stop bolts.





NOTE: If screw can not be loosened, use long nosed pliers to turn eccentric bolt (right arrow)

- Remove left/right washers.
- Pull backrest braces apart and remove backrest from seat frame.

Installing
Install all components in reverse order of removal.
