Clutch release mechanism, repairing






1. Transmission

2. Ball-head stud 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
3. Intermediate piece

4. Dished washer
Small diameter faces guide sleeve (convex side)

5. 0-ring
Always replace

6. Oil seal
For input shaft
Pull out of guide sleeve with release lever WV 681
Drive in fully with installing sleeve WV 192

7. Guide sleeve

8. Retaining spring
Secure to clutch release lever

9. Clutch release lever

10. Torx bolt
Self-locking; always replace 35 Nm (26 ft lb)

11. Release bearing
Wipe clean only-do not wash out bearing
Replace noisy bearing

12. Bolt 25 Nm (18 ft lb)

13. Clutch slave cvlinder
When installing, press in until mounting bolt can be inserted

Note: The installation of the clutch slave cylinder can be made easier by using the mounting bolt with a tapered point, as listed in Parts catalog microfiche.

14. Push rod
Grease end of push rod
