Power Windows, Front Assembly

NOTE:
- Refer to appropriate wiring diagram for electrical repairs
- Individual mechanical portions of window regulator mechanism are available as replacement parts
- After removal and installation of door component carrier or window regulator door glass height must be adjusted

Power Windows, Front Assembly:

1 - Window switch console
2 - Safety switch
3 - Window switches
- Left front window switch -E40-
- Left rear window switch -E53-
- Right rear window switch -E55-
- Right front window switch -E41-
4 - Terminal connectors, window switches
5 - Terminal connector, left front window motor
- Not directly connected to window switch
- Connected with 2-point terminal from wiring harness to window regulator
6 - Washer
7 - Window regulator, assembly
8 - Window regulator motor
9 - Torx screw
- Tightening torque: 4.5 Nm (40 in lb)
10 - Locking clip, glass
11 - Washer
12 - Screw
- Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7fl lb)
13 - Door component carrier
14 - Glass, left front
15 - Guide, door glass
16 - Screw
- Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7ft lb)
17 - Wiring harness
- Refer to appropriate wiring diagram for troubleshooting

Do not re-use any fasteners that are worn or deformed in normal use. Many fasteners are designed to be used only once and become unreliable and may fail when used a second time. This includes, but is not limited to, nuts, bolts, washers, self locking nuts or bolts, circlips, cotter pins. Always follow recommendations given in this publication. For replacements always use new parts.
