Hands-Free Speaker, Removing and Installing

With the standard radio equipment, the speakers in the front door trim are used as telephone speakers.
Bass speaker, removing and installing.
Mid-range/treble speaker, removing and installing.







For radios with the BOSE sound system, a separate hands-free speaker -1- is installed on the driver's side in the door trim.

Removing
- Remove door trim.
- Disconnect harness connectors on window lifters and outside mirror and disconnect door openers.
- Carefully lift insulation and disconnect harness connectors on hands-free speaker -1-.
- Remove door trim, remove mounting screws and remove speaker from trim.

Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal.
