Cylinder Head Tightening Sequence & Torque

TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS





Using sequence shown, tighten cylinder head bolts (engine cold) as follows:

Step 1, tighten to: 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).

Step 2, tighten an additional: 1/2-turn (180°) using rigid wrench (two turns of 90° are permissible).

NOTE: It is not necessary to re-tighten the bolts.
