New Side Window (Sedan), Installing

NOTE: Replacement windows are delivered with a hardened adhesive bead already on them. This should be cut to about 2 or 3 mm before applying new adhesive. Apply adhesive to this freshly cut "leftover" bead as usual.







Dimensions for application of adhesive.

- Apply adhesive material to leftover material around edge.

- Dimension - a - = 12 mm
- Dimension - b - = 8 mm

CAUTION: Do not prime the bonding surface or treat with a cleaning solution.

NOTE: Adhesive sealing material DH 009 100 03 (small cartridge) is recommended when bonding a single window; D 004 300 05 (2K- adhesive) is recommended when bonding more than one window.

CAUTION: Windshield must be installed within 10 minutes; otherwise, proper adhesion of the sealing material will be impaired.

- Note curing times of various adhesion materials (4 hours for DH 009 100).
