Login Procedure (Clearing Previous Adaption - Function 11)




System Test


NOTE:
After every Login-Procedure, the immobilizer unit is disabled for 5 minutes if the ignition key is removed. Therefore carrying out the System Test during this time is not recommended.

- Ignition must be OFF for a minimum of 5 minutes.
- Cover the read coil with a metal plate with a hole, e.g. a properly sized washer. Place the washer on to the ignition lock and insert the ignition key true the hole into the ignition lock.

- Disconnect electrical wire to the reader coil at the plug between the ignition switch and the control module for the immobilizer unit.
- Start the engine.
- The engine must not be running and the control light must be blinking.
- Initiate OBD of immobilizer.
- Check DTC Memory.

One of the two error codes is displayed on display unit.

- Erase DTC memory.
- End Output.

- Press button -1- twice. This selects the "Login procedure" function 11

- Input the secret number, place a -0- before the 4 digit number (e.g. 01915).
- Press -Q- button to confirm input.

The Engine Control Module is now switched free.

CAUTION! If this is indicated during the login procedure, the secret number was entered incorrectly (e.g. incorrect secret number)
