Sunshade, Replacing

- Remove screw -1- holding drive disc -2-to motor, then remove drive disc -2-.

- Remove 3 screws holding drive motor to assembly and remove motor.

- Check drive shapes on electric motor and new sunshade drive plate.

If electric motor drive and new sunshade drive plate shapes match- sunshade reassembling.

If drive shape on motor does not match plate on sunshade, install correct plate from adapter kit Part No. 4D0 898 057 as follows:

CAUTION!
Part numbers are for reference only. Always check with your Parts Dept. for the latest parts in formation.

- Remove two tie rods (with drive plate) from sunshade assembly (note orientation of tie rods).

- Drill out rivets -arrows- holding tie rods to drive plate.

- Install new bearings in tie rods at drive plate (incl. in kit).

- Select drive plate from kit (match electric motor drive shape).

- Install tie rods on new drive plate using pins and circlips (incl. in kit).

Note:
Foam pads -3- must be transferred to new sunshade.
