Cooling System Components (on Body)







1. Radiator
- Removing and installing.
- After replacing, completely replace coolant
- With ATF cooler on vehicles with automatic transmission
2. Securing clip
3. Securing rubber
4. O-rings
- Replace if damaged
5. Lower coolant hose
- Secured to radiator with retaining clip
- Make sure hose is securely seated
- Coolant hose connection diagram.
6. Rubber washer
7. Locking bolt
8. 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)
9. Fan ring
- Clipped into air clutching and secured with locking bolt -7-
10. 2-pin harness connector
11. Coolant fan -V7-
- Checking
12. Harness connector
- 4-pin
- For coolant Fan Control (FC) thermal switch -F18- (and -F54-)
13. Coolant FC thermal switch -F18- (and -F54-)
- 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.)
- For coolant fan
Switching temperatures, stage 1:
- On: 92 - 97°C (198 - 207°F)
- Off: 84 - 91°C (183 - 196°F)
Switching temperatures, stage 2:
- On: 99 - 105°C (210 - 221°F)
- Off: 91 - 98°C (196 - 208°F)
14. Seal
- Always replace
15. Drain screw
- 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)
16. Upper coolant hose
- Secured to radiator with retaining clip
- Make sure hose is securely seated
- Coolant hose connection diagram.
