Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DIM) tool, function 03)

Note:
^ Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) can only be performed when the ignition is switched on, the selector lever is in "P", the engine does not run and the vehicle does not move.
^ Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) will be interrupted when the engine is started.
^ The function of Solenoid Valve 1 -N88, Solenoid Valve 2 -N89 and Solenoid Valve 3 -N90 and Shift Lock Valve are checked acoustically during output DTM. During the acoustical check avoid noise close by as the shift noise (clicks) in the transmission are very quiet.
^ Pressure Control Valve 1 -N215, Pressure Control Valve 2-N216, Pressure Control Valve 3-N217, Pressure Control Valve 4 -N218 and Pressure Control Valve 5 -N233 are activated by the Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM). A direct function test of these components is not possible, however possible malfunctions that could occur are detected by OBD and stored in DTC memory.
^ During the Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM), the individual actuators are activated until the (arrow) button is pressed.
