Antenna For Navigation System (GPS) -R50, Removing And Installing
The antenna is secured on the trunk lid.

Removing
- First remove trunk lid trim.


NOTE: Before removing antenna, attach a helping wire/rope to end of antenna wire (approx. 1m in length) and then pull out antenna wire to antenna hole.







- Unscrew antenna thread -1- at trunk lid -2-.







- Carefully remove antenna wire -1- from left sheet metal opening in trunk lid -2-.
- Slide foam trim -3- of harness connector sideways and disconnect harness connector -4-.
- Carefully remove antenna upward and pull out antenna wire through antenna hole.

Installing:
- Install in reverse order of removal.


NOTE:
- The primed antenna for navigation must be painted in the appropriate vehicle color before installation.
- For installation, pull new antenna wire into trunk lid with help from the helping wire/rope.
