Luggage Compartment Side Trim, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required







- Torque wrench V.A.G 1410







1 - Luggage compartment trim

- Removal:
- Remove luggage compartment floor mat.
- Remove rear cross panel trim.
- Remove rear seat backrest.
- Position tie-downs - 5 -upward (1x or 2x, depending on version).
- Remove two Phillips-head screws - 6 - in tie-downs.
- Remove clip - 3 -.
- Disengage clip - 3 - from tab.
- Disengage three clips - 4 -.
- If necessary, remove cover - 2 -.
- Pull off luggage compartment trim - 1 - upward.

- Installing:
Installation is reverse of removal. Observe the following when doing so:
- After installation has been completed, pull rear lid rubber over trim - 1 -.

3 - Clip
4 - Clips (3x)
5 - Tie-downs
6 - Screws, (2x)
- Tightening torque 4 Nm
