Electronics Box In Plenum Chamber, Removing And Installing

Removing







- Remove rubber seal from plenum chamber cover in direction of arrow.
- Remove plenum chamber cover -1- from the front.







- Use a screwdriver to pry off the two caps -3-.
- Loosen hex nuts -4- a number of turns.
- Loosen wiper arms -2- by tilting them gently from wiper shaft.
- Remove hex nuts completely and remove wiper arms.
- Pull off securing clips -1- and remove cowl panel grille -5-.







- Remove electronics box cover in plenum chamber -arrows-.







- Carefully pry off retainer bar with screwdriver -arrows-.







- Release catches -arrows-and disconnect motor control module connectors -1- and -2-.
- Unclip retainer for transmission control module.







- Release connector -arrows-and pull it from transmission control module.







- Pull off connector -2- from connector rail at rear.
- Unscrew wire connection -1-.







- Release catches -arrows-and pull auxiliary relay carrier in electronics box upward to remove.
- Detach engine wiring harness on electronics box and bulkhead and move clear.







- Unscrew nuts -arrows-.
- Lift electronics box and pull off from above.

Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
