Air-Bag Control Module, Coding (Function 07)
NOTE:
- The control module as supplied is not coded.
- The airbag warning lamp will light if the control module is not coded.
- Coding is performed using the VAG 1551 Scan Tool.
If the correct code is not shown on the VAG 1551 or the control module has been replaced, code the control module as follows:

Codes up to model year 2001
- 10102: Vehicles with front airbags, front side airbags and front belt tensioners, with key switch to disable passenger airbag
- 00102: Vehicles with front airbags, front side airbags and front belt tensioners, without key switch to disable passenger airbag
- 10103: Vehicles with front airbags, front side airbags and front belt tensioners with key switch to disable passenger airbag and belt-buckle check.
- 00103: Vehicles with front airbags, front side airbags and front belt tensioners and belt- buckle check, without key switch to disable passenger airbag.
