Basic Setting For Window Regulator Motor, Clearing

NOTES:
- This procedure may be necessary if basic setting is interpreted as being insufficient, (for example, following a seal replacement.).
- This means, that the window may unintentionally reverse itself during closing.

CAUTION: The following procedures must be completed 3 times within one minute's time.

- Close door and turn ignition on.
- Open door window, and place a piece of wood (approx. 8-10 cm. high) between door window and upper door molding.
- Close door window by pulling window regulator switch up.
- Door window will stop upon contacting the wood, the pinch protection will activate and the window will reverse direction.
- Close door window a second time by pulling window regulator switch up.
- Door window will again stop upon contacting the wood, the pinch protection will again be activated, and the window will reverse direction.
- Close door window a third time by pulling window regulator switch up.
- The automatic reversing feature is now deactivated, and door window will remain in contact with the wood.
- Door window will lower approx. 5 seconds after releasing door window regulator switch.
- Close door window a fourth time by pulling window regulator switch up.
- Door window will again stop upon contacting wood, but will not go down once window regulator switch is released.
- Open door window by pressing window regulator switch.
- Release window regulator switch.
- Press window regulator switch down for at least 1 second.
- Remove wood and close door window to top position (fully closed).
- Release door window regulator switch.
- Immediately pull window regulator switch up again for at least 1 second.

CAUTION: The previous procedures must be repeated two more times.
