Steering Wheel (Sport Steering Wheel), Assembly Overview







1 - Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring With Slip Ring -F138-
2 - Connector for airbag unit
3 - Torx bolts T30 (2x)
- Tightening torque 7 Nm.
4 - Connector for spiral spring
5 - Steering wheel
- Removal
- Remove airbag unit (sport steering wheel).
- Put steering wheel in center position (wheels straight).
- Remove bolt -6-.
- Disconnect connector for spiral spring -4-.
- Remove steering wheel -5-.
- Installing
- Installation is the reverse of removal.
- Make sure connector and securing clip completely engage (audible).
- Attach steering wheel in center position (wheels straight).
- Replace bolt -6- and tighten to 50 Nm.
6 - Socket-head bolt
- Tightening torque 50 Nm
7 - Airbag unit
