Connector Locations
Terminal assignment on connector for fuel gauge sensor
Front-wheel drive vehicles:
The fuel gauge sensor is located under the floor covering in the luggage compartment.
- Remove luggage compartment lining.
- If necessary, fold forward right backrest of rear seat bench.
- Unscrew cover for sealing flange -arrows-.
- Carefully release 4-pin connector -arrow-and unplug.
Terminal assignment for 4-pin connector on fuel gauge sensor
1 - Positive signal for actuation of electric fuel pump
2 - Wire from fuel gauge sensor to instrument cluster (fuel gauge)
3 - Ground connection for fuel gauge sensor (sensor Ground)
4 - Ground, electric fuel pump
All Wheel Drive (AWD) vehicles:
- Remove rear seat bench.
Fuel gauge sensor I -G-
- Unscrew cover for right sealing flange -arrows-.
- Carefully release 4-pin connector -arrow-(right vehicle side) and unplug.

1 - Positive signal for actuation of electric fuel pump

3 - Ground connection for fuel gauge sensor (sensor Ground)

Fuel level sensor 2 -G169-
- Unscrew cover for right sealing flange -arrows-.
- Carefully release 4-pin connector -arrow-(right vehicle side) and unplug.

1 - Not used
2 - Wire from fuel gauge sensor to instrument cluster (fuel gauge)
3 - Ground connection for fuel gauge sensor (sensor Ground)
4 - Not used
