Sensor for transverse acceleration -G200- and Sender for rotation rate -G202- for Bosch 5.3, removing and installing

Note: Sender for rotation rate -G202- may also be installed in a joint housing with Sensor for transverse acceleration -G200-.

Removing
- For vehicles equipped with coded anti-theft radio, note radio code, obtain if necessary.
- Removing rear seat
- Item 2 sender for rotation rate





Sender for rotation rate -G202- is located underneath the driver's seat.
It measures the vehicle's rotation about the vertical axis (yaw rate).
Tightening torque of screws 5 Nm.





Sensor for transverse acceleration -G200
- Item 3 Control module for ultra-sound sensors -J347
To remove sensor for transverse acceleration -G200-, first remove control module for ultra-sound sensors -J347-; see -arrows-.
Tightening torque of screws 2 Nm.

CAUTION:
^ Lateral acceleration sensor is sensitive to impact.
^ If the sensor has been dropped by mistake it may not work properly and must not be installed into the vehicle. Do not use the sensor again.

Tightening torque of screws 2 Nm.

Installing
The remaining installation steps are carried out in reverse sequence:
- Installing rear seat
- Repair Manual Body Interior
- Enter radio code.
