Technical Background





The connector pipe Part No: 034 145 779D (arrow) between the rear coolant pipe and the coolant expansion tank may be leaking.

The coolant light may be illuminated because of a low coolant level.

- Replace the connector pipe Part No: 034 145 779D (arrow). Refer to Group 19, Engine - Cooling System in the Repair Manual for complete replacement instructions.

- Tighten the connector pipe to a torque of 20 Nm.
