- Initiate output Diagnostic Test Mode of instrument cluster, Initiating
Display on VAS5051:
- Select diagnostic function "08 - read measured value block" in selection -1-.
Display on VAS5051:
1 - Enter display group Max. input value = 255
- Enter desired display group number in button field -2-.
- Press -Q- button to confirm input.

NOTE:
- If the instrument cluster is replaced, the data from display groups 010 to 015 must be printed out.
- Measuring value blocks 125 and 126 indicate the components that are part of the powertrain CAN-bus.
- Measuring value block 130 indicates the participants in the comfort system CAN-bus.
- Measuring value block 140 indicates the participants in the information CAN-bus.
- Display will always indicate the actual values obtained from senders and sensors. The values which appear on the instrument cluster are filtered and may be different.
- If the actual coolant temperature is between 80 °C and 100 °C, the instrument cluster always displays 90 °C.
