Selector lever, disassembling and assembling
5 Speed Automatic 01V

- Remove selector lever.

Disassembling





- Drive out mounting bolt with drift.
- Push out slide cover together with Tiptronic spring while lifting pull rod from selector lever.
- Release spring and remove pull rod and spring from selector lever.

Assembling





- Place spring -B- on pull rod -A-.
- Insert pull rod with spring in selector lever.

Installation position:
- Round part -arrow- and cutting point in driving direction.
- Check whether pull rod slides in both guides -C- of selector lever.





- With lifted pull rod -D-, insert guide -B- with Tiptronic spring into selector lever-A-.
- Drive in mounting bolt -C- for selector lever with drift, illustration N370524.
- To secure -C- apply two new center-punch marks -arrows-, offset by 90° in addition to the two existing ones.
The mounting bolt may not have more than 4 center punch marks.
