Check DTC Memory (Function 02)


Check DTC Memory





^ Connect VAS5051 tester to vehicle using VAS5051/1 diagnostic wire. Alternately, VAG 1551 Scan Tool can also be attached using VAG 1551/3 adapter.
^ Advance until "Select function XX" appears in the display.





Indicated on display:
^ Press keys 0 and 2. (The function "Check DTC memory" is selected with 02).





Indicated on display:
^ Confirm entry with key Q.





The number of faults stored or "No DTC recognized!" will be shown on the display.
The stored faults will be displayed and printed out one after the other.
^ Press the (arrow) key.
^ Repair malfunctions after displaying and printing out the last malfunction according to DTC table.
^ Press the (arrow) key.

^ Erase DTC memory
