Multi-function Transmission Range (TR) switch -F125, removing and installing
Removing
^ Remove left transmission support.
^ Remove Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch -17125- at transmission and pull off selector shaft.

Installing





^ Attach Multi-function TR switch -17125- to selector shaft.. Flat of splines of switch -3- must line up with flat of selector shaft-1-.

Note: Attach Multi-function TR switch -F125- centered on the selector shaft. Do not tilt switch and do not use force, otherwise the switch contacts can be damaged.





^ Turn switch until centering opening -4- at switch housing fits into centering dowel -2- at transmission housing.
^ Install Multi-function TR switch -F125- to transmission.
^ Install left transmission support.





Tightening torque
Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch - F125 to transmission 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)
Transmission support to transmission 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
Transmission support to transmission mount 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)
Transmission mount to engine/transmission carrier 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
