Check Control Module Versions (Function 01)

ABS/EDL and ABS/EDL/ASR ITT Mark 20 IE

- Connect VAG1551 and select address word 03 "Brake Electronics" Coding control module. Scan Tool VAG1551/1552 or VAS5051 Connecting/Selecting Function
- Select starting point of program by pressing --> button.

- Press buttons 0 and 1 for function "Check control module version."

- Press Q button to confirm input.

Notes:
^ Control module version can only be affected by replacing the control module.
^ Allocation of control module -J104-, Refer to parts supplier.

^ Control module identification number, e.g. 8N0 907 379 A Assignment of control module: Refer to parts supplier.
^ System designation, e.g. ABS/EDL 20 IE or ATC 20 IE
^ Data - BUS available (CAN)
^ Hardware and software status, e.g 0001
^ Code No. of control module, e.g. 13504. Testing and Inspection
^ Workshop code (WSC XXXXX) go to Operating instructions of scan tool Workshop code, WSC XXXXX, shows the dealership where the control module was last coded.
After pressing --> button, VAG1551 program returns to starting point.
