Convertible Top Hydraulic Fluid: Description and Operation

General Information On Hydraulic System


WARNING:
- When disconnecting the battery observe the necessary measures.
- Secure the convertible top mechanism against unintended opening and closing during all assembly or disassembly procedures, as this can cause personal injury or vehicle damage.


The hydraulic system is self-bleeding and maintenance-free.

When the hydraulic cylinder or hoses are replaced, no topping up the hydraulic fluid is necessary. The system contains sufficient hydraulic fluid so that the fluid level does not fall to or below the min. mark.

When operations are performed owing to loss of hydraulic fluid, the fluid level must be checked and rectified if necessary prior to operation.
