Rules For Cleanliness

WARNING: Hydraulic fluid damages paintwork. For this reason, immediately remove any hydraulic fuel from painted surfaces.

- Thoroughly clean all unions and the adjacent areas before disconnecting.
- Place removed parts on a clean surface and cover. Use sheeting and paper. Use lint-free cloths.
- Carefully cover or seal open components if repairs cannot be carried out immediately.
- Only install clean components: do not remove replacement parts from their wrapping until you are ready to install them.
- Place containers, plastic film or cloths under connections to be opened so that no hydraulic fluid comes into contact with painted surfaces.
- Shut off open hydraulic lines with closure caps to prevent hydraulic fluid from leaking out.
