ABS system components on front axle, removing and installing





1. Hex socket head bolt
^ Tightening torques: 10 Nm

2. Speed sensor
^ Left and right identical
^ Grease all around with lubricating paste G 000 650 before installing in wheel bearing housing
^ Push into wheel bearing housing as far as it will go.

3. Drive axle with rotor
^ Checking rotor for dirt and damage
^ If rotor is damaged, outer CV joint must be replaced together with rotor
^ The outer CV joint is supplied as a replacement part with the rotor.

4. Speed sensor wire
^ Install into retainers provided

5. Hex socket head bolt
^ Always replace
^ Vehicle must be standing on ground when tightening
