- Proceed as follows if the coding of the operating and display module, Climatronic Control Module J255 must be switched for example to a different country version (e.g. to USA characteristic curve, regulation somewhat cooler in summer) without changing the code in the Instrument Cluster Control Module J285 :
- Alter the coding in the Instrument Cluster Control Module J285 to the desired code (e.g. for USA).
- Perform basic setting of operating and display module, Climatronic Control Module J255.
- Alter the coding in the Instrument Cluster Control Module J285 back to the original code.
