Spinning washer, removing and installing

Replacing spinning washer





- Carefully pry off spinning washer - 1 - using a screwdriver.
- Position new spinning washer on wheel hub.





- Apply special tools as shown in illustration.

2. Assembly tool T40089/1
3. Spinning washer
4. Wheel hub
5. Thrust plate VW 401

- Press on spinning washer as far as radius on wheel hub using assembly tool T40089/1 as illustrated.

Note:
^ The spinning washer must be pressed on until it is seated against the radius on the wheel hub.
