Radio, Telephone, Navigation System Antenna R52 - Sedan, Removing And Installing

Antenna cables have connections located at both rear D-pillars.

CAUTION:
- Switch off all electrical consumers.
- Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Removing:
- Remove rear headliner trim.
- Remove left and right rear D-pillar trim.
- Remove Rear Courtesy Light W43.
- Partially pull down rear headliner enough to access connections.







- Disconnect antenna cable connection - arrow - at right D-pillar.







- Disconnect antenna cable connection - arrow - at left D-pillar.
- Loosen antenna cables up to Radio, Telephone, Navigation System Antenna R52.







- Remove nut - arrow - (6 Nm).
- Remove antenna from roof.

Installing:
- Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
The washer under the retaining nut for the antenna has a gap through which the antenna cables must be guided.
