Airbag Adapter VAS 6036, Connecting

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required







- Airbag Adapter VAS 6036

CAUTION:
- Technician must be grounded before disconnecting ignition and Ground (GND) wiring; touch door striker or chassis.
- Airbag adapter VAS 6036 must remain connected to seat until seat is installed again.







1. Voltage supply connector for seat (red)
2. Voltage supply connector for airbag adapter (red)
3. Airbag adapter connector (orange)
4. Connector for airbag (orange)
- Disconnect igniter and Ground (GND) wire.
- Connect connector for airbag - 4 - to airbag adapter connector - 3 -.
If installed:
- Connect voltage supply connector for airbag adapter - 2 - to voltage supply connector for seat - 1 -.
