- Removing
- Disconnect connector at Outside Air Temperature Sensor G17 and remove from mount in air guide.

- Measuring value of Outside Air Temperature Sensor G17 is evaluated by Instrument Cluster Control Module J285 and transmitted via CAN-Bus comfort system to operating and display module, Climatronic Control Module J255 "Guided Fault-Finding" Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing Info. System VAS5051 B or Vehicle Diagnosis Service Syst. VAS5052

12. A/C Compressor Regulator Valve N280 1), 2)
- Checking activation and function

13. Compressor
- Removing compressor from bracket/reinstalling
- Removing refrigerant line at compressor/installing
- Removing and mounting compressor
- Type of compressor differs depending on engine (installed to right or left of engine, 6-cyl. engine, 8-cyl. engine)
- Different types of compressor are installed depending on country version (e.g. "Denso" type designation "6 SEU" for Europe and "7 SEU" for hot countries)
