Telematics SIM Card

The following procedure applies to a faulty Telematics SIM card:

Request new by calling Audi Technical Assistance.

- Remove Telephone/Telematics Control Module (J526 ). Refer to => [ Telephone/Telematics Control Module ].

- Remove both screws - arrows - on underside of Telephone/Telematics Control Module (J526) and remove cover.





- Remove Telematics SIM card - arrow - from Telephone/Telematics Control Module (J526).





- Fill out fax form "Activation of Audi Telematics (Fax)" and send.

- Place the new, activated Telematics SIM card that was received in the Telephone/Telematics Control Module (J526).

- Dispose of old Telematics SIM card.

- Install Telephone/Telematics Control Module ( J526). Refer to => [ Telephone/Telematics Control Module ].

- Perform initialization. Refer to => [ Telephone/Telematics Control Module, Initialization ] Component Tests and General Diagnostics.
