Bose(R) Systems with Audipilot

Beginning with MY 2004, the Bose(R) sound system has an additional microphone (Inside Microphone (R74)) installed in the Front Interior Light (W1). The Inside Microphone (R74) is switched directly with the Amplifier (R12)Bose(R).

The Amplifier (R12) Bose(R) is then in a position to the adapt the sound characteristics of the Bose(R) system to the changing interior noise. For example, if the interior noise becomes louder, the volume is then automatically increased according to prescribed sound curves.

The interior noise is less dominant, the sound experience improves.
