Recaro Front Seat Without Active Head Restraint System Assembly Overview






Recaro Front Seats, from November 2004

From August 2005, the conventional wiring harness routing to the connector station under the front seat. Refer to => [ Connectors, Disconnecting ] Connectors, Disconnecting has been replaced with modular wiring routing. Refer to => [ Modular Wiring Routing, from August 2005, Assembly Overview ] Standard Front Seat, From November 2004.

The modular wiring routing has not been implemented for all countries.

Recaro Front Seat without Active Head Restraint System Assembly Overview

From June 2006

With the introduction of backrests without the active head restraint system, the active head restraint system has been discontinued.

The upper area of the backrest frame for backrests without the active head restraint system was changed.

The angle adjustment has been changed on headrests for backrests without active head restraint system.

The rear side of the upholstery was adapted in the upper area of the changed backrest frame.

With the introduction of backrests without the active head restraint system, the mount for four-way lumbar support in the upper area of the backrest frame has changed.

Removal and installation of curvature and height adjustment motors for four-way lumbar support is similar to removal and installation on backrests with active head restraint system.

The covers are identical for backrests with and without the active head restraint system.

CAUTION!
For safety reasons, headrests from vehicles with the active head restraint system should not be used on seats without the active head restraint system.
