HID Headlamp, through MY 2006

Removing





- With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] [1][2]Battery.

- Remove headlamp.

- Release the spring clip - arrows - and remove the cover from the headlamp housing.

- Remove connector - 1 - on gas-discharge headlamp by turning counterclockwise - arrow -





- Remove the screws - arrows - and remove retaining ring for gas discharge lamp.





- Remove gas discharge lamp from headlamp housing.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Insert bulb in housing, taking care not to touch glass bulb with bare hands.

• Observe installation position: Upper tab at bulb socket must engage at recess for light bulb.

- Secure gas discharge lamp using retaining ring.

- Secure housing cover using wire clamp.

- Install headlamp.

- Connect battery. Required actions => [1][2]Battery.
