AFFECTED VEHICLES





CONDITION

The instrumentation in the cluster briefly illuminates when opening the vehicle.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

A false wake-up signal is sent to the cluster.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION

Central electrics control unit (J519) with software 253.

SERVICE

1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SUM), operating instructions.





2. Update the central electrics module J519 (address word 09) using SUM action code as listed in the table above if necessary.
