• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1331)

Removing

Affects Vehicles with Air Suspension

- Place the vehicle on a hoist => [ Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels ] Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels.

Affects All Vehicles

- Remove noise insulation.

Relevant for Vehicles with Crossmember

- Remove crossmember. Refer to => [ Crossmember ] Crossmember.

Affects All Vehicles

- Remove bolt - 2 -.






- Remove nut - 2 -.






- Remove the stabilizer bar.

Installing

• If you replace stabilizer, note chassis version.

• Stabilizer and mounting must be free of grease.

- Install new nuts - 2 - but do not tighten.






- Tighten new bolt - 2 -.






- Tighten nuts - 2 -.

- Install noise insulation.

- On vehicles with air suspension, position vehicle on wheels. Refer to => [ Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels ] Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels.
