CONDITION
Automatic lowering of door window is inoperative.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

In colder weather, the door window can freeze in the window channel seal. As a result, the automatic lowering of the door window during opening and closing of the doors malfunctions.

2. Prepare to adjust the door window by deactivating the automatic lowering function and ensuring the door window is fully up. This can be achieved by closing the latch on the door lock while the door is open.

3. Adjust door window according to the procedure and specifications found in ElsaWeb >> Body >> Body Exterior >> 64 Glass, Window Regulators >> Description and Operation >> Bolted Windows.

After the improved window channel seal is installed and the window adjustment is performed, the door can be opened and closed in the event of freezing.
