1 Bolt

• 1.3 Nm

2 Front bracket

3 Clip

4 Rear bracket

5 Bolt

• 1.3 Nm

6 Sill panel cover

• Remove the upper and lower bolts from the trim and then remove the trim from the sill panel.

• Remove any remaining adhesive on the bottom of the side panel and then clean the adhesive surface with cleaning solution (D 009 401 04).

• Peel the protective film off the two-sided tape and then press firmly onto the bottom of the side panel.

7 End cap

Removing the End Cap





- Loosen the wheel housing liner near the threaded connection and fold it back.

- Remove the bolts from the end cap and remove the cap from the fender.

- Tighten the bolts - 1 - and - 4 - to 2 Nm when installing the end cap - 2 -.

- Tighten the bolt to - 3 - to 1.3 Nm.
