Creating cut-out for starting assist ground bolts afterward
• If the molded insert is replaced in vehicles which have starting assist ground bolts on the rear cross panel in the luggage compartment, a cut-out must be created afterwards so that the start assist ground bolts can be accessed.
- Use dimensions - a to d - on new molded insert.
• Dimension - a - = 80 mm.
• Dimension - b - = 65 mm.
• Dimension - c - = 130 mm.
• Dimension - d - = 110 mm
- Disconnect start assist ground bolts corner on indicated lines on molded insert.
Remove pressure tank cover
- Remove spreader pins - arrows - and remove pressure tank cover - 1 -.
