Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair

Windshield Washer Pump

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Reservoir

Removing

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove left front wheel.

- Remove left front wheel housing liner.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 4 -.





- Place a reservoir under the washer fluid reservoir.

- Release the securing clip - 2 - in the direction of - arrow - and remove the washer fluid line - 1 - from the windshield washer system washer fluid pump.

- Remove the windshield washer pump (V5) - 3 - upward out of the washer fluid reservoir.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Check the sealing grommet for damage.

- Install left front wheel house liner.
