• When installing door lock, actuating arm of door handle must be engaged into door lock mount.

• The door trim panel is removed.
• Disconnect the door lock connector.
• If the same door lock is installed again, disengage operating rod at door handle.
• If door lock is being replaced, disengage operating rod at door lock => [ Engaging operating rod in door lock ].
• Unclip operating rod at casing from door lock.
• Remove the multi-point bolts - 1 - and remove door lock.

8 Inside Door Release Mechanism Release
• To install, first insert vertically into release lever, then swivel 90° and clip into door lock to secure => [ Inside door release mechanism release ].
• After installing door lock, pull release through cover in direction of arrow.
• When installing, make sure cover is correctly seated in door shell, otherwise it will leak.
• Only use undamaged covers.
Door handle cover

• Remove door trim.
• To remove, first unclip from door shell, then unclip from door handle mount and remove toward rear.

• Engaging operating rod in door lock => [ Engaging operating rod in door lock ]
Inside door release mechanism release
- To install, insert release only vertically into release lever as depicted in magnified area of illustration.
- Swing release - 2 - 90° in direction of arrow and clip it in door lock - 1 -.
Engaging operating rod in door lock
- When installing a new door lock, clip operating rod - 1 - into casing.
- Move slide - 2 - of casing upward to engage operating rod.
- Pull securing pin - 3 - out of door lock.
Install door seal
- Align butt joint of door seal - 1 - according to marking - arrow - in door flange.
- Press door seal all around onto door flange.
Installing side impact protection
- Door trim removed.
- Remove bolts - 3 - and remove impact protection upward.
- When installing, tighten bolts to 10 Nm.
