Sill Panel

• Removing and installing is identical for the left and right sides.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing






- Remove the lower A-pillar trim. Refer to => [ A-Pillar Lower Trim ] A-Pillar Lower Trim.

- Unclip sill panel strip - 1 - from the side member beginning at the front using the trim removal wedge (3409) - A arrows -.

- Disengage the sill panel strip from the side trim - B arrow - and remove it.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• If the sill panel strip clips remain in the body mounting points, remove them and insert them in the trim.

• Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

- Engage the sill panel strip in the side trim and press it onto the side member until it engages audibly.

- Stretch the door seal lip over.
