D-Pillar Trim

Removing

CAUTION!
Observe the safety precautions for repairs on airbags.

- Remove tie-down retaining tracks => [ Tie-Down Retaining Rail ].

- Remove rear cross panel trim => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim ].

- Remove luggage compartment side trim => [ Luggage Compartment Side Trim ].

- Remove roof panel trim => [ Roof Panel Trim ].

- Remove the bolt - 1 -.





- Pull D-pillar trim - 2 - up from body - arrow -.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• Upper D-pillar trim threaded holes must be cleaned of locking compound residue after removal. Otherwise, new screws could lock up when installed and shear off when removed again.

• They can be cleaned with a thread cutter.

• Replace self-locking screws.

• Replace damaged spring clamps.

- Install roof panel trim => [ Roof Panel Trim ].

- Install luggage compartment side trim => [ Luggage Compartment Side Trim ].

- Install rear cross panel trim => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim ].

- Install tie-down retaining tracks => [ Tie-Down Retaining Rail ].

Tightening Specifications





* Replace screws.
