Lower Rear Lid Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pry lever (80-200)





Removing





- Open warning triangle cover - 1 -.

- Turn quick release - 2 - 90° counterclockwise and remove cover - 3 - from luggage compartment liner in - direction of arrow -.

- Press retainer tab - 1 - with flat screwdriver and pry out luggage compartment light - 3 -.





- Disconnect the connector - 2 -.

- Remove bolts - 3 - and - 4 -.





- Open warning triangle cover - 1 - and remove screws - 2 -.

- Carefully pull trim up from rear lid - arrows - by carefully loosening left and right trim spring clamps from rear lid.

- Grasp between trim and rear lid and continue disengaging spring clamps.

- Remove trim.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• Replace damaged spring clamps.

- Let lower rear lid trim engage in lid lock trim.
